At Minx Eveningwear, we understand that our customers want their dresses to be as unique and special as possible, and so we are always adding beautiful new styles to our collection, so please come and visit our site regularly to see what we have to offer. 2. What happens when I place an order online?
Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an email invoice detailing your purchase information and informing you of your expected delivery date (normally next working day if in stock and order placed before 2 p.m, otherwise 2 working days if placed after 2 p.m. or on a weekend / Bank Holiday) and delivery reference number which can be used to track your dress in transit. If your dress is not in stock, we will email you the date in which we will be able to deliver the dress and give you the option to continue with the sale or cancel it. If you have any problems, please email us at sales@minxeveningwear.com quoting your order number and a time that would be convenient for us to contact you and we will deal with your query as quickly and efficiently as possible.
3. Can I order by phone?
If you would like to order by phone, please call us on 01677 425541 from 10:30 am – 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday. At all other times, please leave a message with your name, phone number and time of day when you would like to be contacted and one of our representatives will contact you. If you can also mention what style and size you are interested in, this will enable us to respond faster to your needs.
4. Do you have any stores where I can try on a dress?
Yes we have a shop in Bedale, North Yorkshire. Click here to see a map of our location
5 . Do you have a paper catalogue?
As all of our styles are shown on the web, we do not have a paper catalogue.
6 . How do I know what size to order?
To assist you in ordering the correct size, we have included a link to our size chart with each style. . If your measurements fall in-between two sizes, we suggest that you choose the larger size, and have your own seamstress alter it according to your specific body measurements. Please remember that eveningwear is normally cut smaller then high street sizes. It is common to have adjustments made to eveningwear.
7. What about returns and exchanges?
At Minx Eveningwear we strive to ensure that our dresses are of the highest quality and that they reach you in the same condition. If however, you are dissatisfied for any reason with a purchase, returns and exchanges are hassle free. Please contact us at sales@minxeveningwear for a return authorization number. Full detail of our returns policy can be found in our Terms & Conditions.
*Note: when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation.
8. After a return, when will my credit card be credited?
Please allow 2 weeks for your returned package to reach us and be examined. As soon as we have received and inspected your returned order, we will credit your credit card and send you a confirmation by email.
9. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. You may pay by cheque, however, please note that the dress will only be dispatched once funds have cleared. We also accept Paypal payments, and Postal Orders.
10. What are your shipping rates?
For shipping to mainland UK, shipping will be £10.00 for next day delivery by courier. BFPO shipping will be £10.00, European countries £15.00 and US & Canada £23.00. For all other countries please contact us for a quote.
11. Do you ship everywhere in the world?
Yes! You will be responsible to pay for any taxes or custom duties payable in your own country when your dress arrives there, please refer to our terms & condtions.
12. How long will it take to get my order?
If your order is in stock and the order is placed before 2 p.m., it will be delivered to you the next working day (UK only). If the order is placed after 2 p.m. or on a weekend / bank holiday, it will take two working days. If the dress is not in stock, we will email you the earliest date that you can have the dress and you will have the option to continue with the purchase or not.
